About Us - Hard House Has Never Lost Its Hardcore
We started life as an e-ticket portal called moreonthedoor.com - the only dedicated online ticket site for hard house. At the time the online experience was long winded and expensive, most ticket sites didn't offer e-tickets, so we were forced to pay a variety of add-ons such as service fee, transaction fee, postage fee, insurance in case the tickets got lost in the post. We were able to simplify the entire process, and because we only sold tickets to hard house events there was no need to spend ages navigating your way through a plethora of different events (not just club-nights). Through moreonthedoor.com we were given an opportunity to host rooms at events - the moreonthedoor.com room always featured traditional profession and where possible, extended sets. moreonthedoor.com was run in our spare time, not for profit. But as the events grew, so did the demand on our time. We'd achieved what we set out to achieve with moreonthedoor.com, so we were looking to wind that down to concentrate on our events when Ben Stevens said he'd like to take it on as a going concern.
The events part of the business was re-branded We Love Hard House - the name is the tag we used when promoting moreonthedoor.com.
The brand continues to evolve and grow thanks to the support of our customers and DJs. Some commentators say hard house is dead. It's far from dead. Hard house has never lost its hardcore. All its done is mature a little. If we treat hard house with respect, we believe, and we're proving, hard house does have a sustainable future
