"Scala is a beautiful multi-purpose venue in the regenerated King’s Cross area, on the north side of central London. The building incorporates four main floors and accommodates events for just over 1000 people".
There are three bars, two dance floors and a large stage for live performances. We do not assign seats to tickets. There is limited seating on each floor.

There is very limited street parking in Kings Cross. Scala is located in the borough of Camden but is on the boundry road for Islington borough. There are limited parking zones in nearby streets which are free to use after 6.30pm. There are some daytime parking zones which you can pay for.
St Pancras Station has a 24-hour car park open every day of the year with 315 car parking spaces.
Scala is a 3 minute walk from Kings Cross Underground Station. Underground lines at this station include Piccadilly, Northern, Victoria, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and Circle lines.
Scala is a very old building. One of the biggest challenges for those with mobility problems is the various levels throughout the building. Scala is in fact the latin word for stairs.
All stairs have sturdy handrails. There are three steps into reception, 37 steps to the foyer bar, 14 steps to the main arena (54 total), 24 steps from the foyer bar to the toilets (64 total) and a further 23 steps to the balcony bar (87 total).

The bar accepts major debit and credit cards and cash. There is also a cash-point at the venue.
If you are lucky enough to look or be under 25 years of age we will ask you for ID when you enter the event.
The forms of ID we accept are drivers licence, passport or a Photo ID card with a PASS hologram. You can apply for a Photo ID card in advance from Validate UK

Event closes at 10pm
You are not permitted to smoke anywhere inside the building or on the stairs. You can smoke in our outdoor courtyard on the ground floor.
To find the courtyard go through the doors on the left of the main stage or go to the bottom of the red stairwell. Then go through double doors and down the long grey staircase to the courtyard.
There is no restriction on taking photographs
Bar prices are broadly in line, if not a little cheaper in some cases with other venues in Central London. That means that for those who are not used to Central London night club prices the price of some drinks might be a little higher than you are used to.
NO RE-ADMISSION - the venue has a no re-admission policy
NO FOOD - For health and safety reasons the venue does not permit food to be taken into the venue
