A Weekend Away With Lucy Fur - Date Change
Friday 5 to Monday 8 March 2021 at West Rocks Hotel, Eastbourne
This announcement related to A Weekend Away With Lucy Fur - 23rd - 26th October 2020
As many of you know, Lucy lives in Australia and we are flying Lucy here specially for this event. The authorities in Australia have indicated that their borders may remain closed for the next few months in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We therefor have considerable doubts that Lucy will be able to travel from Australia in October. Lucy, Steve Thomas at West Rocks and I feel that if we are having those doubts at this stage it would be better to move the event in to next year. In doing so we can give everyone due to attend the event as much notice as possible.
We now plan to run A Weekend Away With Lucy Fur on 5-8 March 2021.
We appreciate this will be disappointing news, particularly as for many this would have been your first event post COVID-19. We’re sorry about that but we prefer to make the decision now, giving as much notice as possible to at least minimise the inconvenience. Lucy is obviously very disappointed as she was particularly looking forward to the event and seeing everyone in October. March will be a double celebration as it will also be Lucy’s 40th birthday and we look forward to seeing you in March.
All bookings for A Weekend Away With Lucy Fur will be transferred to the new March date. If you hold a booking for the event but the new date is not convenient for you we will offer you a full refund. Cancellation and refund requests will be accepted up until 5pm 31st July. After this date, if we have not heard from you we will assume you are able to attend the new date and our no-cancellation policy will apply. The balance due date for this event will now be 29 January 2021.
Based on the continuing relaxation of the COVID-19 lockdown regulations, we are expecting our other events at West Rocks in October to go ahead as scheduled.
